Pink & Green - The Quintessential Palm Beach Colors
Who doesn't love pink & green? I've been obsessed with that color combination for many years. Starting way back in the day, when Lily Pulitzer made a comeback and the pink/green color palette that's a cornerstone of their designs reminds me that island living is a lifestyle that endures the test of time.
The vibrant colors of blue, green & pink with some pearl thrown in, are timeless and essential. This is what these ashanti beads remind me of. I've had these for a few months and have just taken my time, reflecting on the colors, the textures and what I really want to do with them. I am still not sure, but of course, I had to throw the amazing baroque pearls in, because I just feel like they belong with everything.
Adding to the mix are fabulous vintage puka shells, the main component of the quintessential 1970's - 1980's surfer style necklace. I remember that because that was my era..hanging out the Flagler Beach and Daytona Beach piers watching the surf and surfers roll in.
I hope you will follow along and see how these beautiful pieces come to life.
