Summer Dream Necklace

Like many of us during these challenging and changing times, I've had trouble sleeping through the night.  A few weeks ago, after a couple sleepless nights in a row, I had an amazing & restful sleep.  It was a Friday night and not only did I sleep through the night, I had a full night of fabulous, vivid dreams.

When I woke up that Saturday morning, the sun was brightly shining and I recalled a dream from the night before where I had made an aqua & pearl choker.  It was the first time I recall dreaming about making jewelry and the memory was so incredibly  pronounced.

I grabbed a cup of coffee and went into my studio/office and created what I dreamt.  Shimmery Aqua Blue Glass rondelles with a Baroque Pearl as it's centerpiece.  I've fallen in love with this necklace and have now created it in multiple colors. 

I named it the Summer Dream Necklace, a reminder that even in difficult times, dreams can and do come true.
