Pretty in Pink
For some reason, the last few weeks, I've been totally obsessed with designing pink jewelry pieces. Well, I mean I've always loved pink from when I was a little girl. I remember being obsessed by my Aunt Mary's kitchen, the entire kitchen including the appliances and washer dryer were all in pink. Apparently, that was popular in the 1960's and to this day, I remember being in awe that a grown up kitchen could be all pink.
One of my recent favorite pink stones has been speckled sea glass beads from Africa. I love the smooth texture and the chunky feel. As soon as I saw these, I had to have them...and when they arrived, I was so happy as they were even better in person. I thought through different colors and shapes to pair them with and ultimately decided to just stay with muted tones so I chose matte riverstone and muted pink ashanti beads which are my favorite shapes and textures.
I'm obsessed with this bracelet stack and have made distinct four styles that I absolutely love. I am thinking of adding on some necklaces and earrings combining these fabulous colors, textures and stones. I feel this is one of my best stacks so far.
